VRAIn is a software company based in Barcelona that uses Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence to create the most disruptive 3D bioimage visualization and analysis.
The Challenge
The client owns a Virtual Reality platform for visualizing baby ultrasound images. Due to the large volume of tasks to be developed on the Backend of the application and the lack of internal staff to handle these tasks, they decided to hire a Staff Augmentation service to manage the pending developments and advance the evolution of the product.
The Solution
We assessed the technological complexity and designed an architecture to handle these situations. While it was not within our control to prevent the potential error, we were able to manage it in such a way that it didn’t interrupt the monitoring of the samples in progress. To do this, we isolated the main application from the secondary application working with the sensors and created a third application to monitor proper functioning. In the event of a failure, the monitoring app would detect it and restore the service within a few seconds. The main application remains unaware of the failure.
